Job ads - we all know them, but it is still sometimes difficult to decide if you fit the requirements of the job in question or not. The first thing is to decide if you have the right qualifications (federal VET diploma, degree, post-graduate qualifications, etc.).
Although experience naturally also plays a role, companies often turn a blind eye. Whether you have four or five years’ experience is not all that important in the end; the important thing is that you do have experience in the relevant field/area.
The situation is different for languages. For some jobs you just simply need command of a second or even a third language. You should therefore assess your language skills as precisely as possible, and make sure that these fit the requirements of the job ad.
If you still cannot decide whether you are a suitable candidate or not, you are welcome to phone and ask the contact person listed in the ad.
